Here are some events that happened this year:


National Voters Day was celebrated with pomp on January 25, 2021 at the local Pradeep Memorial Comprehensive College of Education. About 100 students were present on the occasion. Addressing the students, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Bharti Dimri explained the importance of voting on how they can use their vote properly to contribute to nation building. She called upon the youth to join politics and contribute to the creation of a strong India. All the students took an oath to exercise their right to vote. Associate Proffessor Dr. Manisha Minocha informed the students about voter rights. She said that the younger generation can use their vote properly to bring change in the country and can play a strong role in nation building. All the teaching and non-teaching staff were present on the occasion.

1st November 2021

On 1 November 2021, the Pradeep Memorial Comprehensive College of Education organized a workshop on the Right to Education. The day began with Lighting of the lamp by the Principal Dr .Bharti Dimri. She explained the importance of elementary education and the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, of 2009 to the students. Under this Act, children between 6 to 14 years of age can get free and compulsory education.

The event was helpful as it helped students to understand the value of education in one’s life and the right to get free elementary education. The post tea session was taken up by Prof. D.D Aggarwal, Guest Lecturer. His topic “ Child Rights Act 2005” and its follow-up was a highly interactive and effective session. He explained at length the additional rights enjoyed by children over adults. These children are allowed to enjoy Human Rights along with Child Rights. The event was concluded with the feedback form from the participants which covered the basic questions about the workshop.

In response to mail received from the G.G.S.I.P. University regarding VITTIYA SAKHARATA ABHIYAN. The college selected 60 students from B.Ed Programme 2nd Year and got them trained to know all about cashless transaction using various gadgets like Mobile phone, Internet, Swap Machine, etc. The resource person was Mr. Gaurav Sindhwani, the branch manager of IDBI Bank, Nithari who demonstrated some of the gadgets to make students volunteers know about means of cashless transactions, there were several queries from the students which was answered properly by the resource person. On the other hand the chairman of the college Mr. Deepak Vijayaran motivated the students to come forward for service to the nation.

Dr. Bharti Dimri, The Principal of the College also addressed the students and convinced the students to go to the households to make several citizens capable of cashless transactions. Furthermore she said that institutions like PMCCE with its management, staff Members, and students are agents through which government can succeed in implementing various policies successfully. Once the volunteers got trained and motivated, they went to the households where they interacted with the people meanwhile they demonstrated various things using their own mobile unique ID, ATM Cards, etc. People took great interest specially in knowing how one can have cashless transaction with the help of unique ID (Aadhar Card). Thus, VITTIYA SAKHARATA ABHIYAN was successful where students got trained and various households got awarded about cashless transaction, a step to better India.

9 November,2021

The seminar began with the warm welcome of the resource persons by Dr Bharti Dimri. The key note speaker Prof. C.B. Sharma, from NCERT, was called upon for this purpose. The other speakers were Prof. D.D Aggarwal, (Ex Professor, Delhi University), Dr. Sandeep Kumar, from Delhi University and Dr. Jitender from NCERT. After the lamp lightening, Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Bharti Dimri said few words about the resource person and the seminar. The theme paper was presented by Ms. Poonam Kumari. Then the session took by Dr. Sandeep Kumar and Prof. C.B. Sharma respectively.

They highlighted the main points of NEP 2020 in this regard and put forth the suggestions to bring quality in the education system. Paper presentations were done by the faculty members from different colleges after the snacks and lunch. Thereafter rest of the sessions were taken by the other resource persons namely Dr. Jitender and Prof. D.D Aggarwal. They made clear the major recommendations on higher education. At the end report and vote of thanks was given by Ms. Poonam Kumari.
In the valedictory, certificates were given to all the paper presenters by Prof. Chandra Bhusan. Then all the faculty members, resource persons and students assembled for the group photographs. The seminar was full of saga of knowledge and the galaxy of intellectuals made it successful.

The other speakers were Prof. M.C Sharma, IGNOU, Dr. Pramod Kumar Mehra, IGNOU , Dr. Anu Mehra, D.U and Prof. D.D Aggrawal, D.U.
Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Bharti Dimri said few words about the resource person and the seminar. The theme paper was presented by Ms. Poonam Kumari. Then the session took by Dr. Dhananjay Joshi and Prof. D.D Aggrawal, D.U. respectively. They highlighted the main points of ICT Innovation for Quality Enhancement in Teaching and Learning Analytics in this regard and put forth the suggestions to bring quality in the education system. Paper presentations were done by the faculty members from different college Thereafter rest of the sessions were taken by the other resource persons namely Dr. Pramod Kumar Mehra and Prof. D.D Aggarwal. They made clear the major recommendations on higher education. At the end report and vote of thanks was given by Ms. Poonam Kumari.
